释义	郧乡县西晋太康五年（284）改锡县置。治今湖北郧县。属魏兴郡。南朝齐、梁与北朝西魏、北周为齐兴郡治。隋大业初属淅阳郡，唐属均州。南宋末移治今郧县西南，元至元十四年（1277）迁还旧治，改为郧县。
