常识	威远城
释义	威远城俗名呜咽城。明末清初重要军事城堡之一，位于山海关东一公里处的欢喜岭上。顺治元年（1644）四月，清军入关之前，在此驻防设营。明守将吴三桂为抵抗农民军的进攻，亲赴城内向清军统帅多尔衮乞降。今遗址犹存。
